As an aquatic ecologist and lecturer at NUS (National University of Singapore), I supervise undergraduate and graduate students at the National University of Singapore. The research focuses on freshwater and coastal phytoplankton ecology and the impact of pollutants (microplastics and nutrients) on water quality and larger flora and fauna.  My research is student-run and most students are also co-supervised by other faculty in NUS and overseas universities.
